TRAVEL NOT ADVISED

TRAVEL NOT ADVISED is a tabletop roleplaying game that allows you and your friends to create your own stories within and interpretations of the excellent isolation-horror genre. With 2-6 players and one Documentarian or DM, together you will trespass into unknown and mysterious places and draw the ire of the supernatural MONSTER that dwells there. The game is setting-agnostic, meaning that any setting you can dream of will work thrillingly well with the rules and guidelines I’ve set out here.

I love horror, the structure and feel and balance of it. I also love games that allow you to make genres your own! Inspired by the amazing podcast The White Vault, I took it upon myself to create a modular framework that would allow any group of friends to take full advantage of the wondrously fun and frightening genre that is isolation-horror - no writing experience needed.

The 37-page long, painstakingly laid-out book you'll be buying contains the rules and materials necessary for one-shot play! Included with the book are EIGHT, count em EIGHT unique and fun playbooks, THREE post-death playbooks called PATRONS, a unique and satisfyingly mean dice engine, and a super cool and creepy cyberpunk adventure that you and your friends can drop straight into, no prep needed! There are TWO versions of the main pdf in here, one of them in full color and the other in printable black and white, for those of you who either like printers or are colorblind!
